The Moraine Foundation is a Seattle-based foundation created by Susan and John Pohl.
The Moraine Foundation recognizes that Black Lives Matter and that social injustice and racial inequity are ongoing issues that must be addressed. The Foundation will continue its efforts to support the needs of the black, indigenous, and people of color they engage with. The board and staff are committed to continuing their education and the raising of awareness in all of their actions.
The Moraine Foundation supports endeavors that provide services, advocacy, and opportunities for people and the development of knowledge in order to:
1. Strengthen families and communities
2. Promote the welfare of humans
3. Safeguard our natural world (environmental concerns)
